We cut back the broken end, weld on new material and machine the end and thread to match the original. If the chrome is worn or damaged, we strip it, repair it and re-chrome it.

How it works

Inspect
We check the bar, measure it and look at why it broke.

Cut back
The damaged end is cut off back to sound material.

Weld
New material is welded on using our own tested procedure.

Stress relieve
The weld is heat treated so it stays sound in service.

Machine
The new end and thread are machined to match the original.

Check
Every size is checked against the original or your drawing before it goes back.
